The FM Global 1600 acre Research Campus is the premier center for property loss research and product certification. It contains a 33,600 square foot large-burn lab with movable ceilings, a hydraulics lab, and a natural hazards lab with wind test equipment and a shake table. The wind blade test facility is an impressive structure allowing testing of turbine blades up to 90 meters in length. The laboratory required to accomplish this scale of testing is of structural significance.
